As we approach the opening of tax season 2023, it is important to note the changes this year and be prepared. We always advise our clients to get in early when the tax season starts so that there is enough time to iron out any potential problems. The third-party data submissions took a little longer this year to pull through, however as tax season opens this data should be on your income tax return.

It is advisable to have a practitioner that you stick with so that they can handle the admin on your profile throughout the year in preparation for tax season.

If you were auto-assessed last year you will remember the disaster it was to try and get returns corrected and adjusted, well this year you have until the tax deadline to process this correction.
