Accountant - Who are they and what do they do?

The term refers to a professional who performs functions which include collation, analysis and auditing of annual financial statements. They prepare, maintain and file the financial records of the clients they serve.

Legislation dictates a lot of their work. The role involves a lot of responsibility and requires someone who is willing to work hard. The average accountant spends approximately - 6-10 years of their lives on becoming qualified.
